Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics. Our commitment is to provide exceptional treatments in a professional, safe, and welcoming environment. By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or receiving treatment at Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Appointments
Appointments may be made online, by telephone, WhatsApp, email, or in person.
Your appointment is only confirmed once you have received confirmation from Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics.
Certain advanced treatments may require a consultation before treatment can be performed.
2. Cancellations, Missed Appointments & Booking Fees
Deposits are not required unless otherwise stipulated for selected treatments, packages, promotions, or events. Where a deposit is required, you will be informed at the time of booking.
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed appointments, or no-shows will incur a booking cancellation fee equal to 20% of the booked treatment value.
This fee must be settled in full before any future appointments can be booked or confirmed.
Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics reserves the right to require a deposit for future bookings from clients with repeated late cancellations or missed appointments.
3. Late Arrivals
Please arrive 10-minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Late arrival may result in your treatment being shortened to avoid inconveniencing other clients.
Appointments shortened due to late arrival will be charged at the full treatment price.
If there is insufficient time to safely perform your treatment, the appointment may be cancelled and the cancellation fee will apply.
4. Consultations
A consultation may be required before certain treatments.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, and previous aesthetic procedures.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatment being postponed or declined.
5. Medical Conditions
Please inform your therapist if you:
– Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
– Have allergies or sensitivities.
– Are taking prescription medication.
– Have recently undergone surgery.
– Have recently received injectable or aesthetic treatments.
– Have any skin disorders, infections, open wounds, or contagious illnesses.
– Have any medical condition that may affect treatment.
For your safety, Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment where appropriate.
6. Treatment Results
Every client’s skin and body respond differently to treatment.
Results vary depending on individual skin condition, lifestyle, medical history, genetics, homecare compliance, and treatment consistency.
While we strive to achieve the best possible outcome, no guarantees can be made regarding treatment results.
7. Home Care & Aftercare
Clients agree to follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided.
Failure to follow recommended aftercare or homecare advice may affect treatment outcomes and increase the risk of complications.
Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
8. Retail Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, skincare products cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied.
Returns and exchanges will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
9. Payments
Payment is due immediately upon completion of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.
We accept approved payment methods available at the clinic.
Outstanding balances must be settled before future appointments will be confirmed.
10. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date.
Lost, stolen, damaged, or expired vouchers cannot be replaced.
11. Treatment Packages
Treatment packages are non-refundable and non-transferable unless approved by management.
Packages may have an expiry date communicated at the time of purchase.
Unused treatments after expiry may be forfeited.
12. Promotions
Promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion unless otherwise stated.
Promotions are only valid during the advertised promotional period.
13. Pricing
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices may change without prior notice.
The price applicable on the day of treatment will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Children
To ensure a peaceful environment and for safety reasons, we kindly request that children do not accompany clients to appointments unless receiving treatment themselves.
15. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.
Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
16. Photography
Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatment to monitor treatment progress.
Your photographs remain confidential and will only be used for marketing or educational purposes with your separate written consent.
17. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and stored in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information collected is used solely for consultation, treatment planning, communication, appointment management, and legal record-keeping.
Your information will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or where you have provided consent.
18. Right to Refuse Treatment
Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where:
* Treatment is considered medically unsuitable or unsafe.
* Medical contraindications exist.
* A client is abusive, threatening, or behaves inappropriately.
* A client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
* Hygiene or safety standards cannot be maintained.
19. Limitation of Liability
All treatments are performed with professional care and in accordance with industry standards.
By proceeding with treatment, clients acknowledge that aesthetic treatments carry inherent risks and that results cannot be guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by South African law, Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics, its owner, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from treatment, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
20. Trading Hours
Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
Saturday: 08:30 – 13:00
Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Appointments are essential. Should you require an appointment outside of our standard trading hours, please contact us in advance. Extended hours may be accommodated by prior arrangement, subject to availability.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or receiving treatment at Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You further acknowledge that these Terms & Conditions form part of your agreement with Elysian Skin & Body Aesthetics and may be updated from time to time.
